Our software has been developed in the Microsoft .NET 2 framework, giving you increased robustness, scalability and resilience. The supporting database used in the CMS is Microsoft SQL 2005.
New Product Features
The newly updated Innovation Digital CMS has been enhanced and updated offering you increased flexibility when optimising your site for today’s Internet. As well as general system improvements, we have increased functionality in the following areas:
Search Engine Marketing
- Automatic generation of sitemap files. These files can be configured based on CMS navigation and are used by Google and Yahoo for site indexing.
- Google Analytics. The CMS now allows the admin user to enter a Google analytics code via the CMS. It can be set site-wide or at individual folder levels within the admin system.
- Permanent Redirects. Creation of non url based redirects is now possible within the CMS admin screen, e.g. http://www.myurl.com/redirect/. Redirects can be created to point to both internal and external pages.
- Advanced Google Analytic Tagging functionality.Integrate and link your Google Analytic campaigns with the redirects.
- The ability to edit the robots.txt file has been added for ID staff to remove the need for direct FTP access.
CMS Administration Features
- Copying. Pages and Folders can now be copied from within the CMS admin, while maintaining all associated meta data.
- Admin Search. The CMS admin now includes the ability to search and load a page with the CMS. The option to search by Page name, virtual filename and page type is available. This removes the need to spend large amounts of time searching for a page within the admin.
- New Text Editor. The text editor has been changed to use FCKEditor. This provides more robust checking of XHTML compliance when entering text as well as several other improvements.
- Email AutoResponders. The addition of auto-responder functionality to form builder allowing the admin user to specify a message to be sent on successful form completion.
Accessibility
- XHTML Strict. The CMS now renders fully valid XHTML markup allowing sites to be built to the latest standards.
- New Browser Support. The CMS admin now supports with Firefox 2/3, Safari 1.0 as well as Internet Explorer 6 and 7.
